p is for pouf

We invited a couple friends over for a glass of wine later this week.  It brought up memories of when my parents would have their friends – lots of big, laughing personalities – over for small parties in the ’80s.  The coffee table would be layered with mis-matched plates of cheese and olives and dried apricots.  Everyone would be holding a big glass of inexpensive white wine and there was usually a log burning in the fireplace.  My mom’s favorite position for hosting was sitting on a large cushion on the floor by the coffee table.

And it hit me: that’s what I’m missing!  In looking for a great cushion or pouf, I found some wonderful and well-placed examples for inspiration.
